A Revolutionary and Evolutionary Technology for Acute and Chronic Musculoskeletal / Neuromyscular and other Inflammatory Problems!

A Unique option to avoid surgery

80% – 90% SUCCESS RATES!

shockwave

SHOCKWAVE are high energy sound impulses which are released to area of myofascial pain syndrome ( muscle nodes), sports/musculoskeletal injuries, thus improve imbalance muscle tissue fibres, inflammatory conditions or muscle spasm. It stimulates the body’s self healing repair mechanism and improves blood circulation.

Shockwave therapy has more than 28 clinically effective treatment studies, thereby deliver a highly successful results on muscle connective tissue and other tendon inflammatory issues.

♦ Tendinitis of the shoulder (Acute / Chronic)

♦ Calcific Tendinitis ( Acute / Chronic)

♦ Myofascial Trigger Point ( Acute/ Chronic)

♦ Radial & Ulnar Epicondylitis ( Acute / Chronic )

♦ Trochanteric Bursitis ( Acute / Chronic )

♦ Joint Arthritis ( Acute / Chronic)

♦ Status Post Muscular Injury ( Acute / Chronic )

♦ Patellar Tendinitis ( Acute / Chronic)

♦ Periostitis / Shin Splints ( condition after overload) Acute/Chronic

♦ Plantar Fasciitis ( Acute / Chronic )

♦ Heel Spurs

BENEFITS and ADVANTAGES of SHOCKWAVE THERAPY:

  • Decrease tissue adhesions

  • Relieves muscle spasm and joint swelling

  • Synthesizes tissue healing mechanism through blood circulation

  • Stimulating the body’s self healing and repair mechanism

  • Improves and stimulates body metabolism

  • Release of trigger point and dispersion of substance – P

  • Stimulation of collagen and dissolution of calcium build up

  • Short treatment time per session

  • High percentage of successful treatments after only a few sessions.

CLINICAL NEUROMUSCULAR STIMULATION

article-electrotherapy

  • Its modes of treatment mainly involve the passing of electrical impulses or current through the problematic areas as an effective way of interfering with the development of symptoms and diseases.

  • Used for relaxation of muscle spasms, prevention and retardation of disuse atrophy, increase of local blood circulation, muscle rehabilitation and re-education electrical muscle stimulation.

  • Maintaining and increasing range of motion, management of chronic and intractable pain, post-traumatic acute pain, post surgical acute pain.

• THERAPEUTIC ULTRASOUND

THERAPEUTIC ULTRASOUND

article-therapeutic

  • The way ultrasound generates heat is through the vibrations caused by the sound waves. When tissues vibrate, this increases friction all the way down to the molecular level, causing the temperature of the targeted tissues to rise.

  • Speeding up of the healing process from the increase in blood flow in the treated area.

  • Decrease in pain from the reduction of swelling and edema.

  • Increases Joint Mobility and tendon extensibility.

  • WITH FLEXALL GEL: anti-inflammatory medicines will penetrate the skin which helps to reduce the pain and swelling after an injury ( acute or chronic ).

• SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS:traction2

- Distraction or Separation of the vertebral bodies.

- Non – Surgical decompression of the spinal column.

- Widening of the intervertebral foramen.

- Straightening of spinal curves and strengthening of the spinal musculature.

- Muscle relaxation and joint mobility.

• SPORTS ENHANCEMENT THERAPY

MPS (Myofascial Pain Syndrome) DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

canstockphoto6405871

MPS Deep tissue massage focuses mainly on high tension and fatigue muscle group after sports activities. When there is tension and pain in the muscle due to high level of contractions, there are usually adhesions ( painful, rigid, taut band) in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Adhesions can block circulation and cause pain, limit movement, and inflammation. Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue hence, restoring your concentric muscle back to its balanced state.

MUSCLE IMBALANCE MASSAGE THERAPY

Basically, muscle works in pairs, and certain amount of repetitive motion and movement due to postural dysfunction or sports activities can accumulate strained and imbalance muscle. our therapy rectifies the state of overly stretched ( eccentric ) or overly developed worked muscle ( concentric ) back to its healthy balanced state, hence  enhance blood circulation and detoxification.

LACTIC RELEASE MASSAGE FOR POST EXERCISE

  • Helps to eliminate waste products in the tissue such as lactic acid and encourage the tissues to increase blood circulation.
Improves release of tension and stiffness from muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and fascia.
  • Pain relief and pain management
  • Increased flexibility, mobility, posture and physical performance
  • Breaks down old scar tissue and adhesions.

• POSTURE ASSESSMENT / GAIT ANALYSIS

You may not be aware or ignorant that poor postures can lead to neuromuscular disorder, degenerative joint, musculoskeletal disorder, accumulated trauma disorder and other pain symptoms.

In any form of motion, movement or physical activities and sports, our body muscles facilitate by contracting and lengthening to move the bone at the joints. However, if the muscle group is inactive with very little movement of activities are conducted, it leads to weak muscle where circulation of blood stream is poor and subsequently, leads to adversity in our health.

Poor postures like bad sitting while at work, lifting or picking up a heavy object with your hand far away from your body, sleeping with poor or inadequate mattress and pillow support and even in wrong sports posture can simply lead you to postural stress and pain.

Sitting in a poorly designed fitted office furniture with no proper support on the back of our seats can simply put our lower back in a continuous strain which can then result in lower back ache. Working on our laptop or computer with hand stretched and lengthened away from our body over prolonged periods of time can subsequently accumulate high tension on the shoulder. Most people who spend substantial amount of time working on the computer significantly increases the Front Head Postures Syndrome (FHP), with their head protruding far out from the shoulder. FHPS deviation of 2 to 5 inches from the shoulder can carry load of weight from 2 – 5kg on the neck, this can cause enormous amount of pain and stiffness on the neck which sometime results in headache, migraine and radiation of numbness and tingling pain to our shoulder and arm.

To be active and healthy, most of our perception is to engage in some form of physical activities or sports, but many a times we are caught unprepared and can be vulnerable to sports injuries and accidents. Most radiation of physical pain due to sports are often poor postures related, a golfer with weak lower back or imbalanced muscle can result in herniated or slip disc due to repetitive continuous strain and stress on the lumbar when swinging the club. A marathon runner who runs with both his arms laterally far out from his body with unintentional shrugged shoulder has an increased chance of high shoulder tension that can lead to numbness and pain on the arms.

When our muscles are in a stage of imbalance due to poor postures and repetitive movement or motion, they are particularly more prone to injury and at a higher risk of accumulated trauma disorder.

Wellness Philosophy is a Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM) focusing on physical pain due to our daily activities poor postures like: Sitting in front of the computer, poor support in sleeping postures, Front Head Posture syndrome, bad postures in sports activities etc.
We assess, screen and identify the Trigger Point of Pain physically, thereafter diagnose and rectify the poor posture pain area. Most pain relapse is because the poor posture was not corrected and identified, call our professional posture specialist consultant for a FREE posture assessment and screening.
